AMETEK Adds PTC-425 Calibrator to JOFRA™ PTC Series of Temperature Calibrators

ALLERØD, DENMARK – AMETEK Sensors, Test & Calibration has broadened its line of JOFRA™ Professional Temperature Calibrators (PTC) with the addition of the PTC-425, which has a temperature range of 33
o to 425
oC (91
o to 797
oF) making it ideal for sterilization tunnels as well as validation and monitoring applications in the pharmaceutical, medical and food industries.
The PTC-425 rounds out the PTC Series product line, which also includes the PTC-155 with a temperature range from -25
o to 155
oC; PTC-350 with a temperature range of 33
o to 350
oC; and the PTC 660 with a temperature range of 33
o to 660
oC. Each PTC Series calibrator is available in three models: PTC-A calibrator without inputs; PTC-B calibrator with inputs for a reference sensor and device-under-test; and PTC-C calibrator with input for a reference sensor.
All JOFRA calibrators are known for their accuracy, stability and reliability. PTC calibrators were specifically designed with an intuitive easy-to-use interface and come with proprietary JofraCal software as standard. In addition, the PTC Series features AMETEK’s active dual heating zone system, which provides high-temperature uniformity in the insert no matter the number or size of the sensors immersed.
An optional reference sensor compensates for the temperature differences resulting from testing various sensors, allowing the PTC Series to perform highly accurate calibrations with sensors of varying sizes and even with multiple sensors under test.
PTC Series calibrators are rugged, light weight and available with a highly functional carrying case for improved portability and convenience. The carry case can store and protect reference sensors, inserts, support rods, wires, manuals, plugs and insert tools.
